    • Pink Dessert (Chocolate Coconut Cookies)

    How to Make Pink Desserts?

The pink color can be achieved through the following:

    • Food coloring- Liquid or gel based.
    • Fruits- Especially pureed strawberries, raspberries, cranberries, dragonfruit, watermelon.
    • Jams and preserves- Especially raspberry and strawberry.
    • Sprinkles and sugar decorations- There is a variety of designs available.

    Pink Cakes

Since cakes are one of the most classic desserts out there, it made logical sense to kickstart this roundup with them. Make them from scratch or use a doctored cake mix recipe. From that point onwards, it’s all about the correct pairing of icings and decorations. Stick to a pink theme with pink food coloring in the batter, in the frosting and obviously use pink sprinkles and sugar decorations or fondant decorations.

    • Pink Velvet Cake- Made from scratch in a heart shape and topped with fresh strawberries.
    • Love Letter Cake- These are mini sized and decorated with white fondant and red heart sprinkles.
    • Chocolate Marshmallow Cake (Heart Cake)- Super soft and moist and decorated with pink marshmallows.
    • Chocolate Bark Cake- An abstract cake design, using shards of white chocolate bark with swirls of pink.
    • Chocolate Raspberry Mousse Cake- Composed of 4 delicious layers of vanilla cake, raspberry mousse, chocolate ganache and fresh fruits.
    • Easy Cake Tower- Not limited to just Mother's Day. This is perfect for the day of love too. Slices of pound cake are stacked and decorated with pink buttercream and fondant flowers.
    • Pink Champagne Cake- This elegant layer cake is flavored with hints of strawberry as well as alcoholic or non-alcoholic champagne.
    • Buttercream Ruffle Cake- Decorated with pink icing and Piping Tip # 104.
    • Cherry Cake- Light and airy layer cake, paired with sweet whipped cream, and juicy maraschino cherries.
    • Fondant Bows Cake- This simple way to make edible bows is
    • Love Cake- This stunning cake is decorated with edible markers and pink sprinkles.
    • Fondant Flower Cake- Decorate the top of a cake with pink and white polka dot fondant flower using basic cookie cutters.

    Pink Cupcakes

These are just as easy to make as any other pink treat out there. Use pink natural food colors or liquid food colors or gel colors. I am a big fan of gel colors since they are concentrated and don't affect the consistency of the batter or icing. Dragon fruits are naturally pink and make a beautiful decoration for this theme. Also, strawberry puree adds a nice natural pink color. Dried strawberry and raspberry powder is another natural way to add pink color to your treats.

    • Pink Champagne Cupcakes- Paired with fluffy champagne buttercream.
    • Fresh Strawberry Cupcakes- One of my family's favorite cupcakes ever.
    • Mini No Bake Strawberry Cheesecake Cupcakes- Composed of graham cracker crust, cheesecake filling, fresh strawberry topping.
    • How to Make Cupcake Bouquet (Flower)- This is a really cool pull apart floral cupcake cake arrangement.

    Pink Cookies

They are certain extracts and flavors that are just associated with the pink color such as cotton candy, peppermint, strawberries, raspberries, cherries, pomegranates and cranberries. The most popular cookies in this collection are the peppermint cookies. Although the extract is clear in color, the dough can be colored pink.

    • White Chocolate Peppermint Cookies- Crispy and crackly on the outside, chewy on the inside.
    • Cotton Candy Cookies- Make any cookies of your choice and top them with buttercream and pink cotton candy.
    • Champagne Cookies- Cut out star shaped cookies, frosted with pink icing and decorated with edible pearls.
    • Flower Cookies- Decorated with marshmallow fondant and the easiest pink flower you will ever make.
    • Chocolate Cake Mix Cookies- Dipped in melted chocolate and covered in cute sprinkles.
    • Meringue Cookies- Also known as egg white cookies that are so delicate.
    • Valentine's Day Cookies (Love Letter Cookies)- These are the sweetest little treats that are decorated with red and pink edible markers, fondant and sprinkles.

    No Bake Desserts

Desserts that don't require the use of oven are my favorite to make since they are typically quick and easy. In these recipes below, the pink fruit dip is the most popular and it comes together in minutes. It's super rich and creamy and is always a hit at parties with kids and adults!

    • Easy Fruit Dip- Smooth, rich, creamy. Perfect for dipping fresh fruits at parties.
    • Watermelon Ice Cream- Simple no churn ice cream made with just 2 ingredients.
    • Raspberry Mousse- This just melts in your mouth.
    • Homemade Sugar Cubes- You only need 3 ingredients and your imagination.
    • Homemade Fruit Popsicles- Full of fresh juices. No artificial colors or preservatives!
    • Royal Icing Flowers- These can be made months in advance and dry hard.

    Pies

You can take any white pie mixture and turn it pink with food coloring or the addition of a red fruit puree like strawberry or raspberry. This cranberry pie was naturally pink and paired with whipped cream. You can replace cranberries with any other fruit of your choice.

    • No Bake Cranberry Pie- Loaded with cranberry sauce, whipped cream, orange flavors over a graham cracker crust.

    Candy

Homemade candies are so much fun to make. You need to use oil-based food coloring since liquid food coloring can make the chocolate texture grainy. Using colored jello powder (as seen in the marshmallow candy below) is another way to add the right color and some flavor too.

    • Homemade Chocolate Bars- Use food coloring to turn your candy bars pink.
    • Coffee Fudge (Espresso Fudge)- Full of semisweet chocolate chips, espresso powder and toasted almonds.
    • White Chocolate Bark- Made with just 2 ingredients.
    • Jello Marshmallow Candy- These are so fun to make and very jiggly.

    Frosting

Any cake, cupcake or brownie recipe can be elevated to a whole new level of deliciousness with the correct frosting pairing. Maraschino cherry juice or blackberry puree or strawberry puree or strawberry sauce can give any white icing a stunning pink shade and add flavor as well.

    • Maraschino Cherry Frosting- Made with just 4 basic ingredients.
    • Strawberry Frosting- Smooth and creamy and made with fresh strawberries.
    • Blackberry Buttercream Frosting- Great for piping and filling your baked goods.

    Beverages

Although these are not desserts, they are pink in color and still satisfy those overwhelming sweet cravings. Natural pink color can easily be achieved through berries and some high quality protein powders. These smoothies are also healthier alternatives to traditional party drinks.

    • Strawberry Smoothie- This is It's refreshingly rich and creamy.
    • Banana Raspberry Smoothie- Thick and healthy but still very tasty.
    • Pink Champagne Jelly Shots- Not only do these look gorgeous, they also taste unbelievable.

My Favorite Pink Dessert- Chocolate Coconut Cookies

When it comes to my my favorite dessert, that has to be these chocolate coconut cookies. They are small cookies, which are coated in pink colored coconut. The cookies have the best texture- soft on the inside, crispy on the outside and slightly chewy, thanks to all that coconut.

Easy Pink Chocolate Coconut Cookies on White Dish.

Instead of shredded or desiccated coconut, you can roll cookies in pink sprinkles or pink sanding sugar too. However, I highly recommend using coconut because it adds a lovely flavor and texture, which compliments the chocolate cookie flavor very well. Add-ins like chopped nuts or mini chocolate chips can also be stirred into the dough to elevate them even further.

Partially Eaten Cookie on Pile of Cookies.

In terms of storage, it's best to keep them in a sealed container at room temperature for up to 3 days and in the fridge for up to 5 weeks. They can also be frozen in a sealed bag for up to 1 month and thawed at room temperature or in the fridge overnight.
