This soft and moist naked mango cherry cake with buttercream icing is the perfect dessert for Summer parties. Packed with fruity flavors and easy to make!

Well, brace yourselves for today’s GORGEOUS naked mango cherry cake recipe.

It’s so colorful and fruity, which makes it perfect for Summer picnics and parties!

I used a cake mix as the base for both, the cherry and mango cake flavors since it was EASIER.

Both the cakes turned out to be very MOIST and AIRY.

The cherry cakes were flavored with maraschino cherry juice and the mango cake was flavored with mango puree.

I DON’T like my naked cakes to be dense.

That makes them heavy and when you place them on top of one another, the icing will “squish” out from the sides and make an ugly mess!

By the way, the sun was not being my friend when I was taking these pictures…lol.

The clouds kept blocking the light every 5 seconds (Very annoying!)
