My favorite Father's Day Dessert- Fairy Bread

This is fun to serve for breakfast or as a snack or even dessert. It's so easy that even kids can make them! My version is slightly different that the original. Typically, it's topped with butter and cut into triangles.

I did something different. I sliced white bread and topped it with sweetened cream cheese and lots of sprinkles. To fit this holiday theme, I went a step further and used cookie cutters to cut out "I HEART YOU DAD" pieces and arranged them nicely on a plate! With regards to storage, these should be served immediately because the bread will start drying out, the longer it's exposed to air. I don't recommend freezing or refrigerating leftovers for later because the moisture in the fridge/freezer can cause the sprinkles to bleed color and become messy.
