Tips And Techniques For Snowman Christmas Cookies

Stick decorations quickly before white chocolate starts to set– Because this ensures that they harden into the chocolate and won’t fall off.

How to melt white chocolate? You can melt it in a microwave-safe bowl in 1 minute increments, stirring between each heating, until fully melted. You can also melt it in a double-broiler on the stovetop.

How to dip cookies for an even coating? I highly suggest using a fork to do this. The gaps in fork allow excess chocolate to slide off into the bowl, creating a neat and clean coating on the cookies.

Let cookies set and harden fully– This is important because if you remove them too quickly and they are still wet, your decoration and details will be ruined. You could also end up smudges.

Storage

Room temperature– Store leftovers in a cookie jar for up to 3 days.

Refrigerate– In a sealed container for up to 5 days.

Freeze– In a freezer-safe container for up to 3 months. Simply, thaw to room temperature to eat.
