Nutella Syrup

Like most people out there, I am addicted to NUTELLA! 😀

I can eat it by the spoonfuls!

No wonder a jar BARELY lasts a week at my house…lol 😉

If you have never had it, you need to go out right now and get your self a jar ASAP!

It’s the smoothest, creamiest, most chocolicious and nutty spread ever…Mmmm.

Just thinking about it is making my mouth water…lol.

And now, I have developed a recipe for NUTELLA SYRUP, which is to die for! 😀

It pairs PERFECTLY with pretty much everything… pancakes, waffles, rolls, biscuits, cakes, cupcakes, brownies, ice cream and God knows what else!

I have 2 Nutella syrup recipes for you.

They both look the same but, the first one is is made with only 2 ingredients!

YES…TWO!

It’s super EASY to make and great for lazy or busy days 😉

But, I prefer the other recipe much more.

This syrup is HEAVENLY!

It’s more fudgy and chocolicious and I try to have a batch of it in my fridge ALL the time…hehehehe 😛

nutella syrup 2To make the easy Nutella syup, you will need the following ingredients:

1/2 cup Nutella
3 tbsp heavy cream

Note:
You can add more or less heavy cream, based on your preference. More heavy cream would make your syrup thinner and less heavy cream would make it thicker.

 Here are the steps:

Step 1:
Add Nutella and heavy cream in a small non-stick sauce pan.

Step 2:
Cook over low heat and make sure to keep stirring until your have a smooth consistency.
And you are done!
When this syrup comes down to room temperature, pour it in an airtight jar or container and store in the fridge.
Try to use it up within 1 week.

To make the more fudgy and chocolicious Nutella syup, you will need the following ingredients:

1/2 cup Nutella
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup unsweetened evaporated milk
1/3 cup whole milk
3 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tbsp light corn syrup
1 tbsp vanilla extract

Note 1:
You can replace Nutella with peanut butter and you will end up with chocolate peanut butter syrup. That tastes pretty darn good too!

Note 2:
I like my syrup thick but if you find this too thick, you can thin it out by adding a few teaspoons of milk. 

Step 1:
In a small non-stick saucepan, add sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch, corn syrup, evaporated milk and whole milk.

Step 2:
Cook over low heat and keep mixing constantly.
Your mixture will finally thicken and start bubbling.

Step 3:
At this point, remove your saucepan from the heat and add Nutella and vanilla extract.
Mix with a wooden spoon until the Nutella melts and you end up with a smooth mixture.
And you are done!
When this syrup comes down to room temperature, pour it in an airtight jar or container and store in the fridge.
Try to use it up within 1 week.  

Like I said earlier, these syrups go well with pretty much EVERYTHING! 

So, get moving and make yourself a batch and start pouring it on ALL your baked treats 😀

BTW, this syrup tasted SPECTACULAR on the chocolate cinnamon rolls that I had for breakfast yesterday…yummmmmooooo!

    The first recipe make me understand why you give 2 recipe in 1 post :))) It may useful for people who don’t have much time but still want a delicious food from nutella. Thank alot. Keep up writing like that more.
