Kids love these quick and easy Halloween treat bags. Fill these glove bags with any candy you like! They make great party favors or goodie bags.

When I went trick or treating as a kid, I remember getting these treat bags one year from one of our neighbors. I thought it was the coolest idea ever! I remember our neighbor's gloves were clear. But, I used semi-transparent gloves from Walgreens and I think these look even better. I filled them up with colorful gum balls, candy corns, peanut butter chips and Mike and Ike candies. These would make the perfect addition to your next Kids Halloween Party {Owl Cake} where you will find all the best ideas curated in one place for you!

How To Make Halloween Treat Bags?

    1. Open non-latex glove- Fill with candy of your choice (move the candies into the finger sections first).
    2. Tie up the glove- With a ribbon.

    Variation For Halloween Candy Bags

Gumball bags- Fill with colorful gum balls!

Peanut butter chocolate chip bags- Put a red candy into each finger section first. Then dump all your chips inside. This way, your gloves will have finger nails.

Candy corn bags- Put a green candy into each finger section first and then dump in all your candies.

Add a spider ring- Add a plastic spider ring to one of the fingers for some extra fun!

Use mini individually wrapped candies- Fill the bag full of a variety of candies and make every kid's Halloween dreams come true. Twix and Smarties fit nicely into the fingers of the gloves.

Popcorn bags- Add your favorite variety of popcorn to the bags for a salty sweet treat. Try my Caramel Corn recipe.

Use non-edible items- Such as small toys, money, mini bubbles, or any other item that will fit in the gloves

Use non-candy items- Such as colorful cereal, goldfish, mini cookies, or anything else that fits.

Use different sized gloves- They come in small and larger sizes so choose a size appropriate for the items you are putting in the gloves.

Tips and Techniques For Halloween Goodie Bags/Gift Bags

MUST use non-latex gloves- The latex version has a powder coating inside the gloves that will contaminate the candy.

Get creative tying the bags together- Use metallic ties or ribbons or even use pretty Washi tape.

Be gentle when filling the gloves- If you are using items that may be "pokey," be gentle inserting them into the gloves so as to not rip them.

Use them as party favors- Allow kids to fill their own glove at the end of a party as a fun favor!

Storage of Edible Halloween Party Favors

Room temperature- Most items can be stored at room temperature. If they were at room temperature in their original packaging, then it will be fine in the gloves for up to 5 days.

    Ingredients

    • 1 cup Candy corns
    • 1 cup Peanut butter chocolate chips
    • 1 cup Gum balls

    Instructions

    • To make gum ball bags, just dump a bunch of gum balls inside a non-latex glove (I got mine from Walgreens) and move it into the finger sections until they get filled up. Tie up the glove with an orange ribbon so that candies don't fall out.
    • To make peanut butter chip bags, put a red candy into each finger section first and then dump all your candies. This way, your gloves will have finger nails. Tie up everything securely with an orange ribbon.
    • To make candy corn bags, put a green candy into each finger section first and then dump all your candies. Tie up everything securely with a ribbon.
    • Make as many glove bags as you like and fill them up with any candy you enjoy.

    Notes

    • Read all my tips above.
    • Leftovers can be stored at room temperature for up to 5 days.
