List of edible candy ideas and non edible/ non candy ideas for Easter egg fillers. There is something fun in here for kids, toddlers, teens and adults.
It's so much fun to hide stuff inside those eggs and see the looks on everyone's faces when they open it, not knowing what they will get. Then, after the hunt, you may want to celebrate with this cute Easter Bunny Cake or some mouth watering Peanut Butter Eggs.

Sizes of plastic Easter eggs
The typical approximate size is the small classic ones as well as the big jumbo ones since they are also becoming very popular and can hold larger items. It would be fun to hide both sizes for the hunt or have one large one hidden for a grand prize!
Where to buy plastic Easter eggs for hunts?
During the Easter season you can find them at just about any store. Craft stores, such as Hobby Lobby or Michaels will have a big selection. Groceries stores, including Walmart, will also have them in bulk, but maybe less variety and detail, depending on what you're looking for. Of course, if you are like me you may like to just hop online and get them delivered to your doorstep with Amazon.
Trick Ideas for fun
Sometimes, I play tricks and fill them with just confetti and sprinkles or worse, dried beans and lentils. Oh man! You should see the looks on their faces when they open those eggs. Here they are, fully expecting some candies or at least something fun and they get nothing! But, to make up for my cruel jokes, I always have some fun eggs too.

In Poland, we don't fill the eggs, we decorate them. But this is sure cute, what you did! My daughter is loving it too!

These are so fun! It's great that your son prefers nuts to candy, I wish my kids were like that when they were little!
