The best, classic, old fashioned, easy apple cobbler recipe, homemade with simple ingredients. Loaded with cinnamon nutmeg apples, buttery crumble topping.
In a large mixing bowl, add apples, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and mix everything until combined.
Spread this apple mixture evenly in a rectangular baking dish (Dimensions: 13x9).
In another mixing bowl, add flour, oats, sugar, chopped nuts, eggs, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and and mix with a fork until you have a crumbly mixture.
Spread this crumby mixture evenly on top of the apples.
Drizzle melted butter on top of the the crumb mixture.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 45-55 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and juices are bubbling on the sides.
Drizzle caramel sauce prior to serving. Also, add a few scoops of vanilla ice cream, before serving. Enjoy!
