In a large mixing bowl, add cake mix powder, pudding mix eggs, oil and mix until just combined. The batter will be thick. Stir in all the chocolate chips and m&m candies.
Spread this mixture in a greased and floured square cake pan (Dimensions: 9x9). Swirl warm Nutella on top of this batter with a butter knife.
Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes if you like your bars soft OR bake them for about 30 minutes if you like your bars firm.
Allow it too cool to room temperature. Cut slices and enjoy!
- All ingredients must be at room temperature.
- Don't over-bake because that will make these bars dry.
- Read additional tips and variations above.
- Leftovers can be stored in a sealed container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
- Heat Nutella for a few seconds to make it easier to swirl on top of the batter.
- Try other add-ins like peanut butter, shredded coconut, chopped nuts, extracts, pretzels e.t.c.
- Use Pillsbury cake mix boxes because they are 15.25 oz. The other brands have gotten smaller and won't work well.
