Bake sugar cookies until golden brown and edges become firm.
Allow them to cool completely.
While they are cooling, prepare the tangy cream cheese topping- In a large bowl, mix together cream cheese, sugar, vanilla extract until smooth. Fold in Cool Whip until combined. This can also be replaced with Cream Cheese Frosting. Use a spatula to spread frosting evenly on top of each sugar cookie.
Top it off with fresh fruits.
Prior to serving, drizzle some caramel sauce on top. Enjoy!
