Roll out pink fondant.
Roll out white fondant.
Use a round tip to make small circle pieces and place them on top of the pink fondant.
Once you have enough, flatten these circles with a rolling pin.
Use a flower cutter to cut out a piece and place it on a flower-forming cup.
For the center, make a small ball of white fondant and flatten it slightly.
Brush some water or corn syrup on this white ball and roll it in blue sugar crystals until the ball is fully coated.
Use scissors to cut the stamens into half inch pieces. Push these pieces individually along the sides of this sparkly blue ball.
Brush some water or corn syrup in the center of your flower and stick your sparkly blue ball here.
Let this flower dry overnight or 24 hours until they harden.
Make smaller flowers for cupcakes, if you like, following the same steps.
While the flowers are drying, bake orange cakes and allow them to cool completely.
Also, prepare the cream cheese frosting and color it blue.
Place one cake on a cake stand and spread icing on top.
Place the other cake on top and press gently to secure it into place.
Then, ice the entire cake until smooth.
Use a spatula to create a vertical design all along the sides of the cake.
Fill a piping bag with icing and attach a large star tip and ice a swirl on top of the cake.
Place the fondant flower gently on top. Enjoy!
