Ingredients

  • 1-2 scoops Vanilla ice cream
  • 1 can Root beer

Instructions

  • Optional step: Chill the glass cup in the freezer for about 5 minutes prior to assembling to keep the float cold for longer.
  • Pour your soda in the chilled glass.
  • Add scoops of vanilla ice cream.
  • Top with whipped cream, if you like. I didn't add it this time.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

  • Read all my tips above.
  • Tastes best when served immediately. I don’t recommend storing leftovers for later. The soda loses all its bubbles and goes flat and the ice cream melts and becomes watery.
