Easy Monster Cake
Quick, easy, furry monster cake tutorial and recipe, homemade with simple ingredients and decorated with orange frosting. Great for Halloween parties!

- 2 round Vanilla cakes 6 inch, Colored orange or any color you like
- 4 cups Buttercream icing Colored orange
- 2 Round chocolates Such as big Peppermint patties
- 2 m&m candies Any color you like
Prepare cake batter and color it orange.
Bake and let it cool down completely.
While they are cooling, make buttercream icing and color it orange.
Place one cake on a cake stand. Spread frosting on top.
Place the other cake on top of the frosting and gently press it down to secure it.
Frost the entire cake in orange frosting.You don’t have to be neat since all the flaws will soon get covered up.
Fill a piping bag with orange frosting and attach Tip #21. Start piping fur along the sides of the cake by squeezing the bag until icing comes out and quickly pulling downwards.
Frost the top of the cake by squeezing the bag until icing comes out and quickly pulling upwards.
Stick 2 round chocolates on top of the cake.
Use a black edible marker to draw eyeballs on two m&m candies. Stick them on the peppermint patties with some frosting or melted chocolate.
Fill a piping bag with black icing and attach Tip # 3 (or you can just cut a very small hole in a piping bag). Pipe a curvy smile.
