Easy Eggnog French Toast
Quick and easy eggnog french toast recipe, made with simple ingredients. This delicious Christmas breakfast is a great way to use up leftover eggnog.

- 1.5 cups Eggnog
- 5 Eggs Large
- ½ teaspoon Rum extract
- ¼ teaspoon Nutmeg powder
- 12 Slices Toast Or slices of french bread
- Syrup For drizzling on top
- Butter For topping
In a wide/shallow baking dish, add eggnog, eggs, rum extract, nutmeg and whisk everything until smooth. Dip each side of bread in this eggnog mixture and very gently, lift it and place it on a hot buttered griddle.
Cook one side until golden brown. Then, flip it and cook the other side until golden brown.
Top it off with thin slices of butter and maple syrup or pancake syrup.
