Easy recipe for vegan brownies that are made with no eggs, milk or butter. Super moist and fudgy and packed with deep chocolate flavor.

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 2 cups Sugar Granulated
  • ¾ cup Cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 cup Applesauce Unsweetened
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • Chocolate basket


  1. In a mixing bowl, add flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt and mix until just combined.
  2. Add water, applesauce, and vanilla and mix until well blended.
  3. Pour this batter into a greased pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
  4. When the brownies have cooled down, use a circle cookie cutter to cut out circular pieces.
  5. Place 1 or 2 brownie pieces in the chocolate basket.
  6. Top it off with a swirl of vegan frosting.
