  • In a mixing bowl, add flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt and mix until just combined.
  • Add water, applesauce, and vanilla and mix until well blended.
  • Pour this batter into a greased pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
  • When the brownies have cooled down, use a circle cookie cutter to cut out circular pieces.
  • Place 1 or 2 brownie pieces in the chocolate basket.
  • Top it off with a swirl of vegan frosting.
