Easy Acorn Cookies

Quick and easy acorn cookies, homemade with simple ingredients. Fun edible craft for kids during Fall or Autumn and Thanksgiving parties.

Ingredients

  • 10 Nutter butter cookies
  • ½ cup Melted chocolate
  • ½ cup Chocolate sprinkles
  • 6-8 Chocolate tootsie rolls

Instructions

  • Use a knife to cut the cookies in half.
  • Divide the cookie.
  • Brush some melted chocolate on the top portion of ONLY one cookie.  
  • Dip this area in a bowl of sprinkles and keep aside.  
  • Use a knife to cut little sausage shapes out of Tootsie Roll.
  • Brush some melted chocolate on the cream side of the non-sprinkly cookie.
  • Stick the Tootsie Roll piece here.
  • Brush some more melted chocolate on top of the Tootsie Roll. 
  • Now, stick the sprinkle cookie on top of this cookie and enjoy.
