Chocolate Covered Oreos (Chocolate Dipped Oreos)

Quick, easy chocolate covered Oreos recipe, homemade with simple ingredients. Classic Oreos are covered in melted chocolate (semisweet or white) and sprinkles.

Ingredients

  • 36 Oreos Any flavor of your choice
  • 3-4 cups Chocolate chips Semisweet, Milk, Dark or White
  • ⅓-1/2 cup Sprinkles

Instructions

  • Melt chocolate in a double boiler or microwave until smooth.
  • Use a fork to dip each Oreo in this bowl of melted chocolate.
  • Tap the fork against the side of the bowl to remove excess chocolate.
  • Place them on a cookie tray, lined with parchment paper or wax paper.
  • Before the chocolate sets, toss some sprinkles on top of the cookies.
  • Allow the chocolate to set and harden at room temperature.
  • Remove Oreos gently from the parchment paper and enjoy!
