Easy slow cooker fried apples recipe, that melt in your mouth. Homemade with simple ingredients. Loaded with ripe apples, pumpkin pie spice, butter, sugar.
Add apples to the slow cooker (6 quart or larger) and sprinkle cornstarch. Mix until apples are coated.
Add brown sugar, granulated sugar, pumpkin pie spice and mix until combined.
Add melted butter, lemon juice, vanilla.
Cover and cook on High heat for 2 hours or until apples are tender but not falling apart and "mushy."
Mix until apples are evenly coated in the caramelized sugar syrup.
Serve warm with ice cream, whipped cream or anything else you like.
