Quick and easy snickerdoodle bars recipe, packed with cinnamon and nutmeg. These soft and chewy snickerdoodle blondie bars have a spiced sugar topping.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Butter Unsalted
  • 1 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup Powdered sugar
  • 2 Eggs Large
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp Nutmeg powder
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon powder
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Cream of tartar
  • 1 packet Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides
Topping
  • 1/3 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Cinnamon powder
  • 1 cup Caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

  2. Add eggs and vanilla extract and mix until smooth.

  3. In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together flour, nutmeg, cinnamon, baking powder, cream of tartar and collagen peptides. 

  4. Dump this dry mixture into the wet mixture and mix until just combined. 

  5. Spread this mixture into a rectangular cake pan (Dimensions: 9x13). 

  6. Prepare the cinnamon sugar topping in a small bowl by mixing together sugar and cinnamon powder. 

  7. Sprinkle this sugar mixture on top of the snickerdoodle mixture. 

  8. Bake at 350 degrees for about 25-27 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean. 

  9. When the bars cool down, cut slices.

  10. Drizzle caramel sauce and enjoy!
